Building Blocks for Teaching Preschoolers with Special Needs, Third Edition includes the Building Blocks Framework. This framework is a set of four educational practices aimed to help teachers include young children with disabilities and other special needs more effectively in early childhood classrooms and programs (Sandall, Schwartz, Joseph, & Gauvreau, 2019, p. 3).
